2018 will go down as one of my least favorite years in my life. I’m not going to dwell on it or recap – if you’ve been following my Blog then you know….
Let’s talk about the future. Over the Holidays my son (Ian) organised my Stable Gym. Today I hope to begin the Rejuvenation programme to regain my strength and then get to a whole new level of Wellness to set the tone for the rest of my life (however long.)
I’ve never really been a big fan of New Year’s Eve (Parties when I was younger) and almost consider it ‘just another day’. If you ever experience an earth-shattering wake-up call in your life – you tend to realise that ANY day is a New Years Day (hopefully, that day will be the beginning of your next year of life.) New Year’s Resolutions normally don’t last. So, I’m not gonna make any… However, I did recently see a note that Duane Allman wrote (I assume to himself) that I think is the best I’ve ever seen and I will adopt this as my mantra – not just for 2019, but for the rest of my life. I share this with you now.

So, where am I now…sitting comfortably in my recliner in my living room at the Mill House, Hitcham, UK. In a half hour I drive about an hour to Cambridge to get my 8th (of 15) Radiation Therapy treatments. So, far there have been no real side effects from this. I need to hydrate more, otherwise; I get some weird coloration in my excrements – my Kidney aches a bit…but; nothing horrible, yet… I will be finished all this on the 10th of January and then leave with Mel to attend a funeral of a family friend in Gloucestershire.
Then back to the homestead for a week to ensure that nothing weird is going on with my body. It’s off to Spain for about six weeks and when I return to the UK (before Brexit), the next testing and verdict will determine if we’ve successfully Impeached the Alien Trump; by April (obviously hoping that the proceedings are positive and the result is GONE!)
I’m looking forward to the next phase of my life and obviously hoping for THE result. I will miss a lot of you (already do) that have been in my life (by not continuing in the Industry) and I sincerely wish all of you a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous Life…
I hope to see you again somewhere down the road (or you can just come here!)
